About The Dorset Region Club

The Dorset Region is a very active club and currently enjoys a healthy membership of over 100 members. We hold a monthly club night meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at the Hamworthy Club, Canford Magna Road, starting at 7.30 pm, except in January. There is a good, value for money menu available for members wishing to eat prior to the meeting and we suggest you attend between 6.15 to 6.30 pm. We organise speakers, film shows, skittles and quiz nights on a regular basis and the social evenings are an excellent way of keeping in touch with Forthcoming Events and networking with members and friends.

We also hold a events and road runs specifically for members who live to the West of the County which are detailed on our events listings and published in the magazine, which we try to organise as frequently as possible

We organise Winter Pub Meets, Road runs to places of interest and also have Club Stands at many other local shows. We also host an annual Christmas Party.

Weekends Away in the UK and abroad are organised every year and are very popular with our members.

We raise money for a local Charity each year which this year is the MV Freedom Charity operating boat trips for disabled people from Weymouth . This is achieved through holding raffles at our Club Nights and from other donations received at our events.

Becoming a Member

One of the benefits of belonging to a local club, especially if you are restoring a classic car is the in-depth knowledge from other club members, plus a healthy social side for the ladies. We understand the difficulties experienced when new members join the club and we go out of our way to make them welcome. Owning and driving a Jaguar is very unique experience and is even more enjoyable to share this passion with other Jaguar owners.

I have been a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club for a number of years and belonged to another region. But I have to say the Dorset Region is such an active club with many events organised, plus weekend away trips etc. We have recently re-located to Dorset and the club has made my wife and I so welcome and we have started to enjoy the organised events. This is one of the benefits to owning and driving our Jaguar and long may it continue. Thank you Dorset Region.
