After being cancelled last year, there is a good chance that this event will go ahead in September this year. It is held on a large site at Stockton Park, which is between Warminster and Wilton, just of the A36. Many Dorset members have attended this event over the years and thoroughly enjoyed dressing up in period costumes. Personally, I have only attended this event on a Saturday day time, but it does actually cover span Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are activities that are held in the evening, with bands, singers and dancing being held in the main marquee. I have described this event previously as the nearest thing in comparison to Goodwood Revival, but without the racing cars. If members would like to attend this event it is best to meet up and go in convoy then we can all park up together, as there are arrangements for club stands.
