MG Owners Club invites Dorset JEC to Athelhampton Garden Party

The day is a fairly relaxed event at which MG owners, invited guests and their cars (classic and modern) gather together (between 10am and 3pm) at this historic and picturesque location. The day features live jazz music, a duck race on the River Piddle, tours of the Elizabethan House and its award winning gardens, trade stands, a grand tombola and a Name the Dog Competition. There will also be an award for the ‘Car of the Day’ as chosen by visitors. Athelhampton has its own restaurant which serves a Sunday Roast and cream teas.

Admission is £10 for a solo driver and car and £15 for a car and all occupants (PLEASE REMIND YOUR MEMBERS TO TELL THE MARSHALS ON THE GATE THAT THEY ARE WITH JAGUAR CLUB SO THAT WE CAN ALLOW THEM INTO THE RESERVED PARKING AREA)– this includes access to the house and gardens (normally adult admission is £13.95 per person). There is no pre-booking it is pay on the day at arrival.
