Free Entry For Classic Cars at Ferndown

I have attended this event on a few occasions and obviously given the weather being kind it is a nice little show with lots going on. It attracts a lot of local visitors who are like to look at the classic cars on display, so you will be asked a lot of questions about your pride and joy. Please read some information below for more details but it is essentially a free show if you turn up with a classic car and the organisers are requesting that your car should be at least 20 years old, unless it is of special interest! Cars should be in place by 9.45 am.

Ferndown Rotary Club invites you to a spectacular, fun-filled day for you and your families to enjoy in the fabulous grounds of King George V Playing Fields, Ferndown.

The ‘fete on the field’ is dedicated to raising much needed funds for the chosen sponsored charities of this years event.

The day will start at 11am and will include live entertainment from the bandstand, live displays from the two arenas, a wonderful avenue of fete stalls, classic car show and fun dog show, amongst many other attractions that are yet to be announced.

There will also be the second running of the exciting John Thornton Obstacle Pram Race, the fabulous Ferndown 10k & 5k runs will be taking place around the heathland. For the children’s entertainment there will be magic shows, some great bouncy castles & a fancy dress competition for the kids and even a best ‘fancy’ dressed stall. You can also enjoy a generous selection of food stalls, for both hot and cold refreshments throughout the day, including a fine selection of local beers & ciders.
