Unfortunately owing to the Covid 19 virus this event has been cancelled

I have enjoyed this event for many years, along with my trusty navigator Charles Smith and can vouch that is a very well organised yearly event. If you decide to take part in the Rally, typically you would arrive around about 10.00 am to collect your route and goody bag. A bacon or sausage roll and a cup of coffee is also supplied (included in the entry fee) before setting off on the designated route to search out the clues. There is a planned break enroute at an interesting destination for a lunch break, where you can earn extra points, before setting off on the final leg. Arriving back at Alec’s Field, Hazelbury Bryan about 2.00 pm, which is where many Dorset Region members met for our annual Treasure Hunt and picnic this year. If you do not want to take part in the Rally you can of course just turn up and display your car from 12.00 noon onwards.

For some reason or other our Club has not given much support to this event over the years, which is a shame, because if we had numbers the organisers would allocate us a club stand and the event raises money for the Somerset & Dorset Air Ambulance.
