This is the second year of hosting ‘Picnic in the Park’ on Sunday 2nd of August and will be hosting the classic cars / vintage vehicles side of things in the Woodside Park, Pennington, Lymington. The event has been taken over by Ashley, who runs ‘Classics on Christchurch Quay and it is organised very much the same.

A few members attended this event last year and it was quite enjoyable. Although there wasn’t the usual car boot saie, but there was quite a lot of other things going on to keep us entertained but we were able to erect a gazebo, because it was very hot.

The event will be a fun day out for all the family, as aside from the vehicles, there will be Coles fun fare, side stalls, live music, fun dog show, birds of prey, croquet and petanque, BMX display, food and beverage outlets, a large picnic area and much more

Classic cars, vintage vehicles, you will need to enter via Rookes Lane, SO41 8FP

For modern cars and visitors, there will be a car park with the entrance in Ridgeway Lane, SO41 8AA

I assume it will be free of charge, as last year, if he is not being charged for the rental of the land.

Pre September 2001 vehicles only, oil drip trays optional but preferred please.
